Stewards

Stewards are a large group of volunteers who help our committees to run their sections.  You can volunteer as an individual or as a group. 

Stewards usually volunteer their time over or before the show helping with set up and break down, helping the judges, organising competitors etc.  Some stewards help to run activities during the show and all stewards get asked general questions about the show.

Horticulture Floral Art Dogs Dairy Products Meat Products Trade Stands Car Parks & Entrances General Stewards

Some of these sections do not need stewards at the present time or need stewards with specialist knowledge, please contact the office for details or fill in the form below.

Gardener's Question Tme A very popular attraction since 2009 the ITV and Daily Mail’s Gardening Question Time Roadshow has become an integral part of the Bakewell Show’s Horticulture Marquee. Madam Zucchini New for 2012! Her Healthy Eating Show starring Lois Leek, Peter Parsnip and the terrifying Artificial Cheese-beast. Performing in the Competative Horticulture Marquee. Titan the Robot 8ft of Steaming Robotic Loveliness.... Titan the Robot is the worlds first robotic impersonator is back at Bakewell Show in 2012! He will be performing twice a day on the Village Green The Beach With deck chairs provided for supervising adults, donkey rides and a Punch and Judy Show the beach is always very popular with the whole family. The Imps Motorcycle display team deliver a breath-taking motorcycle spectacular. This dynamic display of skills, performed by highly trained young people, will have you on the edge of your seats! The Sheep Show The Sheepshow is a fun and educational live show of sheep breeds and shearing. It is seen at numerous outdoor events throughout the year and is fun for all ages.
